Contemporary Issues in Geriatric Mental Health Care is a unique professional development program for social workers, nurses, psychologists, counselors, pharmacists, and others who work with older adults challenged by mental illness. Beginning on Jan. 17, 2017, the University of Wisconsin-Madison will offer the course online, featuring high-quality instruction from UW-Madison and Medical College of Wisconsin faculty who are board-certified in geriatric psychiatry and pharmacy. Students can start anytime and complete the course within a year from the date of registration.
